Hutchison Transportation Pay Rates

Base Milage Rate

Million Mile Driver (Qualifications)	$.36/mile

Senior Driver Incentive (Qualifications)	$.01/mile for all mileage driven

Company Driver Extra Pay

Drop Pay	$8.00/per drop
Tarp Pay	$35 (Full cube tarp 6' or higher) $25 (Full cube tarp under 6') $15 (Full top tarp) $10 (Half/partial/smoke tarp)
Untarping Pay	$10/any tarp
Pig Trailers Handler Pay	$15/per each trailer
Log Book Incentive	$45/each calendar month

Fuel Mileage Incentive Program
Drivers are eligible for the Fuel Mileage Incentive Program if they meet the criteria of fuel savings set by the company. Bonuses are paid quarterly based on mileage and miles per gallon achievement.

Million Mile Driver
A driver with one million (1,000,000) or more miles of driving experience in a Class 8 vehicle, with a minimum of eight (8) years experience that can be proven by either payroll records, tax records, certified company information, DOT records (logs), and a clean MVR (driving record) for the last three (3) years.

Experienced Driver
A driver with five hundred thousand (500,000) miles or more of driving experience and four to eight (4 - 8) years of driving experience in a Class 8 vehicle that can be proven by either payroll records, tax records, certified company information, DOT records (logs), and a clean MVR (driving record) for the last three (3) years.

Intermediate Driver
A driver with one hundred fifty thousand (150,000) miles and one to four (1 - 4) years of driving experience in a Class 8 vehicle, with a clean MVR (driving record).

Student Trainee w/ Driver Trainer*
If you are a student or beginning driver with less than one (1) year of experience, or no experience at all, ask about our Student or Beginning Driver program. All student and beginning drivers will train with a driver trainer for a period of three to five (3 - 5) weeks at the Team Driver Rate.

Senior Driver
A senior driver is defined as a driver who has been employed by Hutchison, Inc. as an over-the-road driver for five (5) consecutive years or has driven an accumulative 500,000 miles as an employee of Hutchison, Inc., whichever is accomplished first.

Work Week
The work week for over-the-road drivers employed by the Hutchison Transportation Division of Hutchison Incorporated will begin at 12:01 a.m., Sunday morning and end at 12:00 midnight, the following Saturday. Drivers are expected to:

Leave on time
Be at first drop on schedule
Plan the whole week's schedule in advance

Pay Policies
All Pay settlements are made the Friday following the completion of a work week, this includes wages and eligible expenses.
